Hi, I’m Dina Valentini —
ceremonial cacao maker, ritual facilitator, artist, and lifelong student of the universe based in Pennsylvania.

My path has not been shaped by traditional degrees, but by lived experience, deep listening, creativity, and a calling to understand what it means to live a heart-centered life. For more than five decades I’ve followed curiosity wherever it leads — through art, nature, community, and the quiet inner spaces where transformation begins.

The Cacao Dimension was born from that journey.

What began as a personal relationship with ceremonial cacao slowly unfolded into a devotional practice and creative calling. I work with cacao as both plant medicine and sacred companion — ethically sourced, intentionally prepared, and crafted in small batches with reverence for the lands and hands that bring her to us. Each bar and blend is created as an offering: to open the heart, ground the body, and support meaningful connection.

For the past several years, I have traveled regularly to Costa Rica to spend time in the forests where cacao grows, sitting in quiet relationship with this wise plant teacher and the land that nurtures her. These pilgrimages continue to shape how I source, prepare, and share cacao, deepening my commitment to honoring cacao not simply as chocolate, but as a living, sacred ally.

Through cacao, ritual practice, creativity, and community gatherings, I create spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and remember their own inner wisdom. Some experiences are quiet and reflective, others playful and expressive, but all are rooted in intention and authenticity.

Over the years I’ve practiced many roles — daughter, wife, mother, teacher, chef, farm educator, and mixed-media artist. Each has shaped the way I hold space today: with warmth, humor, reverence, and grace for the beautifully imperfect journey we all share.

Creativity remains at the center of my work. From watercolor and fiber arts to ritual crafting and chocolate making, working with my hands has always been a form of listening — a way of allowing beauty and meaning to emerge naturally. Ceremonial cacao weaves through it all as both teacher and guide.
