It has been an entire year…
…since i’ve sat down and said hello and shared anything of what is going on at the cacao dimension and that is absolutely bonkers because the magic has been off the charts.
so many beautiful experiences have taken place, so I hope you will bear with me as I tell the story of 2025 up until now. the cacao dimension has been blessed with so many opportunities to share space with so many beautiful humans. we’ve launched walkabout Wednesdays and visited so many beautiful places - nockamixon state park’s waterfall, Illick’s mill park, Jordan creek at the covered bridge trail, the d&l trail in Slatington and laury’s station and hawk falls in the poconos to name a few. we have had a couple of sauntering Sundays where we went to the quiet hills lavender farm and the bake oven knob; i’ve also been blessed with sharing space one on one with a few beautiful goddesses in the cacao dimension garden, Gordon’s pond and cape henlopen in Deleware for the full moon rise and sunrises, ringing rocks and her waterfall, bake oven knob at sunrise and the trout creek wildlands amongst a few.
grandmother cacao has guided us to beautiful experiences with other light worker goddesses in the form of dancing, paper making and gratitude journal creation, footbaths and facials, gentle yoga and meditation, conscious connected breath work, art experiences through felting, watercolor painting, harvesting herbs and sabbat dinners; she has inspired us to create inspired soulful and meaningul collaborations for 2026 that you will certainly not want to miss and reunited me with a friend that I loved creating magical events with during my days as a caterer. when I tell you that 2026 has some major magic up its sleeves, I am not even exaggerating, it is breathing life into the most magical experiences.
as a community grown plant medicine, grandmother cacao loves collaborating and bringing her love wherever she goes. I feel so blessed to be under her guidance and able to speak through her to bring more mindfulness by way of celebration to my current and heartfully expanding community.
last year after my dad passed, I had an amazing reading with a wonderful medium. my mom and dad came through loud and clear, my dad being the loudest (I expected nothing less) and it was delightful. he told me a few things that have both perplexed and stuck with me. 1st. you need a plan and you need to stick to the plan and 2nd. publish your book. I laughed, I love to “plan” things, but don’t always execute according to plan and I wrote a book 7 years ago that just sat in my computer files waiting for “one day.” well, one day has arrived and the book is finished aside from illustrations and Is now just waiting for that, I think the illustrations will be easier now that i’ve finished the writing and I will once again reach out to my sister goddess artist to take a go at it. I think early 2026 we may be able to release “the unexpected gardener” into the world, so stay tuned. this is just the first of a series for this book, as the characters are in my head on a regular basis introducing their friends and neighbors who wish to be seen as well. trust me, they all have a lot to say.
in the meantime however, a few beautiful human friends of mine had other ideas for what I should be writing and while I listened, it took me a full year to act on it. I tell you this because if you hop on over to my offerings page, you will be able to purchase and download the “21 days of pause - a yule companion with ceremonial cacao”. this 38 page book was born from the celebration that grandmother cacao and I created last yule to walk the path from December 1st to the 21st. our collaboration created moments to pause and celebrate even the small things. what started as just some delicious celebratory ways to sit quietly has turned into a guide that will allow you to whisper magic into your day, sit quietly or with friends, embrace a few journal prompts, do a small ritual, embrace some magical ingredients and remind yourself just how valuable you are to this world.
while grandmother cacao is front and center in our daily lives and we try to live in a place of gratitude and mindfulness, the world right now Is a bit wobbly and full of tough moments. I do my best (not always as good as I’d like) to remain centered and embrace joy. one thing that has been endless joy over the last year has been our little “clowder” of energy. last June we were blessed with two sweet sisters, Queen sage of smudge and queen saffron of crocus; this July, my dear neighbor was blessed to be trusted by a sweet feral with her presence and her babies and I am happy to welcome them to our home as their furever homes. so we joyfully welcome Queen Juliet of Karen, princess sorrel of rumex, prince jericho of rose and prince jimson of weed. photos will follow in subsequent stories or you can see them all at some point or another in the cacao dimension on Instagram. just look for @the.cacao.dimension and give us a follow.
well my little cacao nibs, I have a lot of things To do today and grandmother cacao insisted I do this before I could enjoy today’s ritual. I think i’ve done what she’s asked, but have no fear, she will tell me if I missed the mark or not…may you be blessed to see the magical moments in each of your days, because they are there if you want to see them
boundless blessings,
