weddings are a special moment in all of our lives, one that we wish to do only once, make your day special with a new, old tradition. allow grandmother cacao and I to bless your special union as she did centuries ago by combining the magic of two different varietals of ceremonial cacao to create one special blended union for you are your partner.

Moonthly Cacao

ceremonial cacao is a plant medicine of the night, her blossoms open late in the afternoon to be pollinated by tiny winged beasties and then close to form into cacao pods by noon the next day. sitting with grandmother cacao under a full moon is delightful, but what about the other moon phases where her medicine is just as potent and heart opening.

while most days I sit alone as a ritualist, it is when ceremonial cacao is gifted the opportunity to sit in community that she really shines. grandmother cacao is a community plant medicine. she grows low and below the canopy of standing people in the forest, first as the protector of those growing up around her and then as the protected and deeply loved being below the larger standing people that shade her from the strong heat of grandfather sun. she plays host to other plant people and creatures that grow and thrive along her trunk, branches and leaves creating a space where communities of micro organisms and larger beasties can co-exist in a loving relationship with each other. join me for group rituals that will foster community sharing and celebrations that are created with the love she shares with all of us.
