Join us for an afternoon of intentional cacao, creativity, and intention as we craft our own handcrafted besoms in preparation for Samhain and the turning of the Wheel of the Year.
Our gathering will begin in circle with Grandmother Cacao and a guided meditation to help us reflect on what we are ready to release and what we wish to welcome into the season ahead. Guided by Dina Valentini and mixed-media artist Sandy Eckhart, participants will create a beautiful decorative broom while weaving personal intentions into every binding and embellishment.
Traditionally associated with cleansing, protection, and new beginnings, the besom serves as a powerful symbol of clearing away what no longer serves us and creating space for what is yet to come. Whether displayed in your home, placed upon an altar, or used as a reminder of your intentions for the coming year, your handcrafted broom will be a meaningful keepsake of this special experience.
Your Experience Includes:
Ceremonial cacao
Guided meditation and intention setting
Instruction from two facilitators
All materials and embellishments
A handcrafted broom to take home
Tea and community connection
Because materials are purchased in advance specifically for each participant, registrations for the Sacred Broom Making Experience are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person or arrange to pick up a materials kit after the event. Please contact us as soon as possible if your plans change.
Space is limited.
This limited ceremonial offering was created in collective witness for individuals affected by immigration enforcement in our local community.
Each bundle invites a moment of presence and care while directly supporting rapid response and mutual aid efforts in the Lehigh Valley.
$10 from each $20 offering is donated to support ERN – Lehigh Valley Emergency Response Network through The Cathedral Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem.
This is a small-batch offering created slowly and intentionally. Once this batch is complete, it will return only when cacao and timing allow.
Each bundle contains:
• One sun & moon ceremonial cacao piece (approx. 60–70g, enough for two servings or to share)
• Flickering LED vigil candle
• Cloth ritual pouch
• Guided ceremony accessed by QR code
Packaged in layers designed to create a gentle, intentional opening experience.
These cacao beans are sourced from regenerative farmers in Puerto Rico working to restore the island’s cacao heritage. Their work in land stewardship and cultural restoration feels deeply aligned with the spirit of this offering.
Each piece is made from 100% ceremonial cacao and intentionally left untempered to honor traditional preparation methods.
Because of this, natural blooming may appear as soft swirls or variations in color. This is a normal characteristic of minimally processed cacao and does not affect flavor, safety, or ceremonial use.
This offering includes a flickering LED candle chosen intentionally for safety and accessibility. You are welcome to substitute a traditional candle if you prefer.
A heart-opening cacao ceremony + crystal-breaking ritual for release, revelation, and embodied power.
Step into a sacred circle with Grandmother Cacao as we journey inward—softening what’s been held too tightly, naming what’s ready to be released, and cracking open the layers that no longer fit. In this ceremony, you’ll be guided through intention, meditation, and ritual, culminating in a powerful geode-breaking moment: a symbolic act of transformation where what’s hidden becomes visible.
You’ll leave with a piece of your geode as a take-home talisman—an anchor for the truth you uncovered and the version of you that’s ready to emerge.
Opening grounding + intention setting
Ceremonial cacao (heart-opening, gently energizing)
Guided meditation / inner goddess journey
Ritual release + witnessed geode break
Integration, blessing, and closing circle
Your opened geode to take home as a power object
You’re at a threshold—ready for a reset, a release, or a reclamation
You feel a “next version” of you knocking from the inside
You want a ritual experience that’s both mystical and embodied
You’re craving clarity, courage, and a little sacred fire
Date: April 10

10:00 am meet up time
Sundays are for slowing down. We saunter, not rush—letting the path invite us to notice the smallest details: a leaf turning, a birdcall, the sound of our own steady breath.
After the walk, we gather with warm cacao. This is not a hurried sip, but a quiet medicine of restoration. Together we drink, share what the week has shed, and open space for peace before stepping into what’s next.
Sauntering Sunday is a practice of presence: one foot, one breath, one sip at a time.
